Do you take custom orders?

Custom orders are CLOSED as of October 31, 2021! Baby #3 is arriving early December, and will reopen commissions in February.

 

 

How do I care for my item?

Your rope vessel can easily form back into its shape with your hands, but using an iron on your cotton setting with steam will help it go back to shape quickly if necessary. To clean, spot clean with gentle soap and air dry. I've also had luck with using a Tide To-Go pen!

 

Do you take wholesale orders?

As of January 1st 2021, I will no longer be accepting wholesale orders.

 

 

Where do you source your materials?

All materials are sourced from the USA, except for a few cork pieces (i.e. straps, fabric) that are purchased from Portugal. They harvest cork sustainably and the quality is top notch. The rope is 100% unbleached cotton, and made for me right here in Maine. The hemp and flax linen rope is raw and organic, and also sustainably sourced.

 

 

How long will it take to receive my order?

My current turnaround time to ship out items in stock is 1-3 days. Made to order items are generally 7-10 days out. This is not including actual shipping time. Custom items will vary on turnaround time, but I will give an estimate at the time of inquiry.

 

 

What kind of machine do you use?

I use an industrial zigzag machine, Reliable 2300SZ

 

What do you use to dye the rope?

I primarily use a fiber reactive dye purchased from Dharma Trading Co. It allows for strong, consistent, permanent colors. It is also safe for chemically sensitive people. I've also started botanically dyeing the rope with extracts as well as foraged items found in my woods, or nearby!

  

Do you accept returns/exchanges?

I gladly accept returns and cancellations

Request a cancellation within: 1 hour of purchase

I don't accept exchanges, but please contact me if you have any problems with your order.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged, because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Items on sale
Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.
